✦ The Bible Passion Project

Small groups restored community.
Bible study got left behind.
Let's put them back together.

Today, Bible study is mostly a solo activity. But we believe Scripture grows best in community, with accountability, shared discovery, and the kind of encouragement that keeps people coming back.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together — but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Hebrews 10:24–25

This is not a technology project. It is a conviction — that the Church is better together, that Scripture is meant to be wrestled with in community, and that the tools we build should serve that sacred purpose. We are not building an app. We are building a place where the group study experience can happen again.

A Mission. Not a Product.

We are a team with one conviction: the Church is at its strongest when its people study Scripture together — with real community, real depth, and real engagement, together.

The Bible Passion Project exists to make that possible again. We are more than a software company. And more than a publisher. We are a mission — expressed through everything we do.

Today, that mission takes shape through two ongoing initiatives: Bible Dose, the group study platform we are building, and the books we write designed to deepen what readers find in their groups. Both are built to be sustainable and self-supporting. Both serve the same aim — putting Scripture back at the heart of communal life.

More work will follow. New tools, new resources, new partnerships. The mission stays the same.

More to come
We’re a team building something we believe matters. We’d rather build it with partners than alone — with the churches, ministries, publishers, and organizations who share this conviction.

A Good Intention Created a Gap

“Churches moved toward small groups to restore community. It worked — but Biblical literacy suffered.”

Over the past two decades, churches made a sincere and meaningful shift toward small groups. The goal was community. It worked. But it created an unintended consequence: people stopped studying Scripture together.

Study became a private activity — without accountability, without shared discovery, and without the kind of communal engagement that can help build literacy. People show up for fellowship. The Bible takes a backseat.

This is not a criticism of the Church. It is an observation that opens a door. The Bible Dose platform was built to walk through that door.

“Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” — Matthew 18:20
Community Without Content Small groups create belonging but often skip deep Scripture engagement. Fellowship fills the hour; the Bible gets five minutes.
Solo Study Without Accountability When study is assigned between sessions, it rarely happens. Without shared accountability, individual reading quietly falls away.
Declining Biblical Literacy Scripture engagement in the U.S. has declined 34% since 2020, even as church attendance and small group participation remain steady.
No Platform Built for This Hundreds of Bible apps exist for personal reading. None are designed specifically for a shared experience communal group study.

The Audience Is Already There

More than 100 million Americans engage with the Bible at least occasionally. They’re already in our pews.

One Mission. Two Vehicles.

An integrated platform — a group focused Bible study app and a library of companion books — that work together to restore Biblical engagement at the group level.

Newly Re-imagined.
Bible Dose App

A web-based platform where every participant logs in on their mobile device and moves through Scripture and lessons together in real time — completely shared and synchronized. A library of ready-made lessons. A module to build your own. Built for the groups.

Thought Leadership in Print.
Books

Books come with companion lesson sets inside Bible Dose. When someone reads the book, the app deepens the study. When someone attends a Bible study in the app, the book extends it. Each product drives the other.

Church Wide.
For Every Church

Bible Dose scales from a small group of 5 to 10 to 30 to many more. It puts a powerful study platform in the hands of every small group leader.

A Shared Bible Study, Right in Their Pocket

Every participant opens Bible Dose on their phone and the entire group moves through Scripture together — same verse, same lesson, same moment. The leader controls the pace; the platform keeps everyone in sync.

Beyond the Text

Inventive ways to present and learn God’s word — built for leaders who want their groups to actually engage.

Create

Finally, a platform designed for creating and executing group Bible studies. Bring together scripture, cross-references, multiple translations, images, maps, and videos to crystalize every idea, verse, and message.

Deliver

The Bible is too exciting to not have an exciting way to teach it. Bring the Bible to life with visuals, maps, and interactions that draw your group into the pages and stories of scripture — in real time, together.

Empower

Empower your Bible teachers and small group leaders with the tools they need. Maintain an indexable library of pre-created studies for every leader in your church to access and teach from.

Multiple Translations

Access different translations and versions to cross-reference and compare — so every participant follows along in the same version without getting lost.

Maps & Places

Use an interactive map to find and study every place mentioned in the Bible. Make Scripture geography come alive for your entire group simultaneously.

Linked Resources

Create Bible studies that combine all your resources — scripture, commentary, videos, images, and more — in one shared view for the entire group.

Hebrew & Greek

Reference the KJV Bible with Strong’s numbers to see the original Hebrew and Greek words behind the English text — accessible to every participant in the group.

Spiritual Care

Essential tools that enable pastors to shepherd and nurture the spiritual well-being of their congregation across all their small groups, with visibility and engagement analytics.

Study Notes

Study notes automatically generated by the platform for each lesson for participants to access on demand for even deeper study and self reflection.

Group Studies Have Real Challenges.

Bible Dose was created to tackle every one of them.

Different Bible Translations

When participants have different translations, following along gets difficult. Bible Dose keeps everyone on the same page — literally.

Standardized Teaching

It’s hard to ensure every group learns what the church encourages. Our platform gives churches consistent, approved content across all groups.

Language Barriers

People whose first language is not English can struggle to keep up. Multi-language support ensures no one is left behind.

66 Books to Navigate

Asking people to jump from verse to verse across Old and New Testaments slows everything down. Bible Dose navigates for the whole group.

Group Monitoring

Ensuring all groups meet and study the same material is daunting. Dashboards give church leaders visibility across every group at once.

Paper Handouts

Printing materials is wasteful and making updates is worse. Bible Dose delivers everything digitally — updated instantly, accessible always.

Beginners & Advanced

Beginners feel overwhelmed; advanced students get bored. Our layered lesson design serves both audiences in the same session.

Visual Learners

Not everyone learns best by reading. Maps, images, charts, and visual data bring the text to life for every learning style in the group.

Post-Study Access

Study materials are usually unavailable after the session ends. Bible Dose keeps everything accessible to participants anytime, anywhere.

We Are Looking for the Right Partners

We are not looking for a check. We are looking for organizations that share our conviction that Biblical engagement is declining — and want to do something real about it.

Distribution Partners

Organizations with existing church relationships who want to offer their audience a powerful, shared Bible study platform. You bring the audience. Bible Dose becomes the engagement layer that makes your content more effective.

Denominational Networks
Content Partners

Publishers, ministries, and Bible organizations whose study content, curriculum, or commentary belongs inside a group study platform. Bible Dose is the delivery vehicle for your material — directly into the hands of group leaders.

Research Partners

Bible engagement organizations interested in the data our platform generates. We can show, measurably, whether shared group study increases Biblical engagement. That data is valuable to the right partner.
